Are you a Classic FM fan?

Then this could well be for you.

I am, with a lot of encouragement from the Hall Committee, proposing to form the

Leigh on Mendip Audio Society.

It will be based in Leigh on Mendip and will I hope attract members from the surrounding villages.

The idea is that members will bring their favourite pieces of classical music so that we can all listen, enjoy and discuss them.

The proposed dates for these meetings will be the last Friday afternoon of each month.

Preliminary Meeting

Fri 24^th June, 2.30pm

At the Old Chapel, Leigh on Mendip.

All are welcome

We do not as yet have sufficient numbers to afford the hire of the hall. However several enthusiasts are keen to get started so as you can see above thanks to the kindness of Roy and Shelagh Haywood we have found a way around the problem.

At this preliminary meeting we will set the dates for future meetings and have a little taste of some of the great music to come.
