Leigh-on-Mendip First School is a welcoming and friendly village school catering for children between four and nine years old. We are fortunate in enjoying a high level of support from parents, good relations with the local community and the benefit of a good team of experienced staff.

We all work closely together to foster the development of our children's skills, understanding and relationships, to encourage quality and pride in learning and to provide a safe, happy, well-ordered school environment in which this can take place.

Our small classes enable us to give each child a high level of attention and our strong links with other local schools allow us to offer a wide range of educational experiences.
