Leigh-on-Mendip
needs a Parish Councillor

Following the recent Parish elections, we are currently seeking a resident who is registered on the electoral role and has lived in the village for 12 months or more and over 18 years of age to become a Parish Councillor.

Getting involved in the local community and helping with local issues is a very worthwhile way of making a contribution to the area in which we live and work. Do you have young children or teenagers and are interested in things that affect their lives? Are you concerned about our environment? How do you feel about planning issues? What about public transport? Local housing? Are you interested in local government finances, and where all our money goes? What can we do about anti-social behaviour? Do we need more local amenities?  Help to make sure that our village gets the most from Localism and the least impact from the financial cuts.

YOUR COMMUNITY NEEDS YOU!
HELP MAKE THE DECISIONS AT GRASS ROOTS LEVEL!

If you would like to be co-opted onto Leigh-on-Mendip Parish Council, please do not hesitate to contact Sandrine Vaillant - Clerk to the Council at Burleigh Cottage, Leigh Street, Leigh On Mendip BA3 5QP, 01373 812 563, email  - lom.pc@btinternet.com  - for further information and a friendly chat. We look forward to hearing from you.
