CAR PARK IMPROVEMENTS

We aim to improve the surface of the access track and part of the rear carpark to provide disabled parking spaces.  We have a grant for the first part of this work and will seek a further grant later to complete the work.  The new surface will comprise a special paving block, recommended by the Environment Agency, which minimises standing water and runoff.  Planning permission was obtained in early October 2007 for the changes.   We also have plans to improve the exit from the carpark to both the children’s playground and the Recreation Field.
