This exciting project developed from the Parish Plan (2006)
will when completed:
(1) Develop a recycling facility to substantially reduce waste to landfill.
(2 (2) Enhance the young people’s play area.
(3 (3) Refurbish the Recreation Field building and establish a range of new active recreation clubs
(4) Provide an
all-year youth shelter in the village.
We
have established recycling facilities - clothes, shoes, mobile phones,
inkjet cartridges and recently plastic bottles and cardboard
We
have established a youth club for 8-12 year olds with a range of games and
activities
We
have established an Active Living Centre for the over 50's offering
activities, talks, a lunch club and internet activities
We have submitted bids and gained grant funding to establish the new facilities
