1)      Apologies for Absence:. Steve Willis

2)      Previous Minutes: Minutes for meeting  12 May 05 were agreed and signed.

3)      Football Club:  Jim’s team have booked to play again next season at £35.

4)      Cricket Club:  The youngsters using the field for golf practice have not been seen.  VH will approach them to seek reasonable behaviour when she sees them                                 ACTION VH

5)      Cricket Social Club:.

6)      Grounds Maintenance:. Two broken tree branches to be dealt with. One at entrance too high for  JR/AR and one on fence line by VH.                                                                    ACTION:VH

7)      Vandalism  A collection of items from local gardens had been found in the playground and reclaimed.

8)      Spoil Heap: It was agreed to try Eddie Gould.                                                              ACTION:VH

9)      Playground  Gate needs realignment to remove finger trap.  May need concrete to posts (post mix from Focus??) or reversing.                                                                                      ACTION: DP

Wicksteed did carry out the annual inspection.  The report was reviewed.  There were no urgent or serious items.  It was agreed to remove the perspex in the signs, add the emergency number to the notices, and organise a tidy up to deal with other items (including clearing around car park hedge)                                                                                                                                      ACTION: DP

10)  Electrics: Emergency lighting test procedure to be done at each meeting. Done.    ACTION: ALL

11)   Concrete ends to Old Benches: Removed by SA WELL DONE.

12)  Car Park: New notice and letter.  VH had sent a letter to residents, with no response.  The wording of a notice was agreed.                                                                               ACTION VH

13)   Gas Check propane cylinders.   VH had done and will change soon                                ACTION VH

14)  Benches      DP to get Teak oil from J&A.  VH, DP, CP DM agreed to help apply,

15)  Water Heater:  Three quotes had been received, and the cheapest selected – Chris White.  It was agreed to ask Jan Robson to oversee the work (he had offered), and to go ahead before the other work to the toilets, and without central heating.                                                                            ACTION VH

16)  Ramps: Available in stock. It was agreed to wait until the heater was finished        ACTION VH

17)  Toilet Works: It was agreed to wait until the heating was finished.                    ACTION VH

19)  .Annual Parish Meeting  The case put by VH had gained public support, and the PC had agreed to consider contributing 5p per house per week to help with the insurance.

20)  The Lease VH/SA to incorporate the changes agreed.  CP to review the amended version.                                                                                                                                          ACTION VH/SA/CP

21)  The Bonus Club winners for June were Nick Crispin and Jan and Ty Schlecter.

22)  Car Treasure Hunt followed by BBQ.  Date set for Sunday afternoon 14 Aug @ 1430.

26)  Alarm Testing: JR had written to LJH confirming their sponsorship of this in November 2005.

27)  Grants: Grant from Gloria Caywood.  Try again next year?

28)  SA reported that new opportunities existed to develop the services provided by the rec for young people.

Mobile Skate Board park  CP to enquire for more details

Funding is available to ward off anti social behaviour

Football teams were being set up in some local villages (Coleford, Holcombe, Kilmersdon).
