1) This was a short informal meeting arranged at short notice to discuss a short list of subjects at the end of a CAP meeting.
2) Burns
Night £557
profit equivalent to £599 including drink left over. Big thanks to Vicky, Frank and helpers. It was agreed to buy a gift for Daniel Mears who had helped set up
very enthusiastically.
3) Annual accounts: Completed and with auditor - balance £4812
4) AGM date set for 18 April. DP to prepare agendas etc and put in Parish mag.
5) Bonus Club winners: January: Sarah Claxton/Phil Streather & Tony Gould. February: Peter Westcombe & David Sparks
6) Hedge cutting. Gerald Jeanes had generously asked Alan to do it, and Vicky was expecting Alan to cut the hedge last Tuesday as arranged between the two of them, but he did not show, may have had problems with lambing!
7) Fete
committee rep VH agreed to attend the next
meeting. Other members to help out.
8) Jobs
a) Some tiles around the pool table were lifting – VH and
DP to inspect at 1915 on 27/2 with a view to buying new tiles and laying with
bitumen.
b) Wicksteed have been asked to do the annual safety
inspection.
9) A new draft H&S Policy was distributed.
10) Race night. All in hand for 16 March. Sell tickets and horses! DP to check Denis P’s availability.
