FROME NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH: Leigh-on-Mendip East

Your attention is drawn to a large modern silver coloured Mercedes car containing up to four males who are calling upon the vulnerable amongst our community, claiming to be from the Water Board to gain access, distracting the occupant and then stealing items from within the premises. Two of the men are described as being :
1--------- male, white, early 20s, medium build wearing black trousers
2--------- male, white, in his 30s, larger build and wearing a striped shirt

These men are prolific in our policing area and also in the south Wiltshire and Dorset areas.
Please be aware of unusual callers who may be at the homes of your vulnerable neighbours and ring the Police on 0845 456 7000 as soon as practical if you are suspicious of doorstep callers or use the 999 system if necessary. Please ask for calls to be tagged NHW and this is Ringmaster message F295.
